BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) - Two people were rescued from the water at Heathwood Apartment complex Monday afternoon.
Two kids went out onto the ice and one fell in. They were able to get out of the water an onto the island. That's when fire and rescue arrived to rescue them.

They were taken to the hospital and are expected to be okay.
