BLACKSBURG (WSLS 10) – A Virginia Tech sophomore has been identified as the victim who was killed in Saturday's serious single-vehicle crash in Montgomery County.
Haydn Michael Woodall, 20, of Glen Allen, Va., died early Saturday morning, April 11 just outside of Blacksburg.

According to police, the accident happened just after 2 a.m. in the Lusters Gate Road area, near Greenbrier Circle. When deputies arrived on scene, the single-vehicle was found over an embankment on its roof.
Woodall was pronounced dead on scene, another person was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial by helicopter. Two other passengers and the driver received minor injuries.
Officials at Virginia Tech said Woodall was majoring in biochemistry. Family said he was a bon vivant, a stylish dresser, and an irrepressible free spirit. They said he was kind, compassionate, witty, intelligent, curious and charming.
Woodall's family will receive friends in a celebration of his life from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, at Bennett's Funeral Home, 11020 West Broad St. in Glen Allen, Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Haydn's name to BARK — Bandit's Adoption and Rescue of K-9s — in Ashland, Virginia.
The names of all those involved in the crash have not been released.
