Radford man to serve 45 of 100-year sentence for 68 counts of carnal knowledge of child

RADFORD (WSLS 10) - A former Radford and Virginia Tech employee was sentenced to 100 years on 68 charges of felony carnal knowledge of a child. 

Judge Josiah T. Showalter Jr. suspended 55 years of the 100 and Jones will serve 45 years.

Arthur Jones plead guilty to more than five dozen child sex charges in February. He admitted to 68 counts of carnal knowledge with a 13-year-old he met online.

After a 3-hour hearing, Jones received the 100 year sentence in Radford City Circuit Court.
