HILLSVILLE (WSLS10) - It was another successful year for the Annual Hillsville Flea Market. The four-day event wrapped up Monday evening. Hundreds of thousands flocked to the small town for the rummage event, which is one of the largest in the southeast.
Bumper-to-bumper traffic, crowded sidewalks and white tents line Route 58. All of those people hoping to find a good steal.

"I've been coming for years with Barry, my son," said Shirley Wray.
For Shirley Wray it's a family tradition that her son is now passing down to his little one.
"This is his first time," said Shirley's son Barry Wray. "I think he's excited."
"I actually got this here, it's from Wild Bill's soda stand," said Colton Wray, the youngest in the family. "It's got some really good soda's there."
From small trinkets to hand crafted gifts there's something for everyone. All of the vendors said their sales are holding steady.
"Business has been really good," said "Baggage Claim" vendor Toni Pricard. "Saturday was our best day. It was by far the busiest out here with people coming through."
Over the course of four days the city is expecting nearly half a million visitors.
"I think absolutely there's more than 500,000 people," said Pricard. "I don't know for a fact, but when you walk out of your booth, you look up and down the streets, and you see that many people, it's a lot."
Like they say, one person's junk is another's treasure. But, beyond the various goods its families sharing time well spent and creating new traditions
"I love antique stuff," said Barry. "So, I hope they maybe learn to like it too."
