ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - Hair stylists in Roanoke volunteered their Sunday afternoon to raise money for veterans.
Stylists at Paul Mitchell the School held a Cut-A-Thon!

The community could come together and get their hair washed and cut - for a donation. Organizers said the reason was to honor veterans during the month of November.
Proceeds from the event went to the Gary Sinise Foundation. The foundation helps veterans transition back into civilian life.
"We really want to reach out to the community and have everybody come in and help us, so we're just offering services today for donations. No set price, just having fun with it, and doing for a very good cause," Medina Spreco, the director of Paul Mitchell the School said.
