RADFORD (WSLS 10) - Radford University students hope to collect 10,000 pounds of non-perishable food items during its holiday food drive.
Organizers said the collected food would be distributed to food pantries and churches in the City of Radford.

"It makes me feel really good, it shows how the greek community tries to give back as well the rest of the Highlander community, it's really nice this is a campus wide food drive," Kaitlyn Julien, the orgnaizer said.
2015 marks the sixth year students have held a food drive. Around 800 pounds of food had been collected as of December 2.
