NELSON COUNTY (WVIR) The Virginia Supreme Court has refused to hear the appeal of convicted murderer Randy Allen Taylor.
Taylor's appeal was denied by the state's highest court on Friday.

He killed Nelson County teenager Alexis Murphy in 2013. A jury convicted him a year later.
Taylor maintains he is innocent.
A family member of Alexis Murphy says they're happy with the decision but it doesn't bring them closure. The family still wants to know where Alexis' body is.
