LYNCHBURG (WSLS 10) - A former Albemarle County teacher is in jail on sex charges with a minor.
Amelia Tat of Lynchburg was arrested Wednesday.
Police believe she had sex with a student last year while teaching at an Albemarle County middle school.
Tat was arrested on two felony counts of carnal knowledge of a minor and one felony count of taking indecent liberties with a child.
She was also arrested for one felony count of carnal knowledge of a minor in Lynchburg.
