RADFORD (WSLS 10) –The Radford City Police Department is investigating an assault after a man was shot with a blow dart near Radford University.
It happened Saturday October 22 around 9:15 in the 500 block of Tyler Avenue. The victim told police he was walking in the area when he was shot with a blow dart from a passing vehicle. The victim received a minor injury and was treated and released by Radford EMS.

Police say the vehicle is described as a silver or light in color passenger car.
The vehicle was last seen headed south on Tyler Avenue.
This incident remains under investigation by the Radford City Police Department. Anyone with information in reference to this incident is asked to call Officer M.L. Mansdoerfer at 540-731-3624.
