Morning fire in Roanoke causes $50,000 in damages

ROANOKE (WSLS 10) - On Sunday morning, at 4:48, firefighters responded to a house fire in the 100 block of Wildhurst Ave., NE.
Officials said when crews arrived they found heavy flames showing from the second floor. Two people were inside when the fire started and escaped without injuries. The American Red Cross is assisting. Authorities said the cause of the fire was electrical. Damages are estimated at approximately $50,000.
