I-81 reopens after accident in Rockbridge County

UPDATE:  Interstate 81 in Rockbridge County is open again after a tractor-trailer fire shut it down this morning.

State police believe the fire was started when the truck's brakes got too hot.

Crews say the crash involved a commercial tractor trailer that was carrying grocery store items.

The fire is contained but is not out yet. Crews are waiting for someone to get to the scene and offload the trailer's cargo.
