One man hospitalized after attempted armed robbery in Roanoke

ROANOKE, VA – Roanoke City Police said one person is hospitalized after an attempted armed robbery in Roanoke. 

It happened just after nine Sunday night in the 1100 block of Loudon Avenue. 

Police said the victim was shot and there is no word on the victim's condition. 

No arrests have been made so far. 

The investigation is ongoing.
