A Pulaski County man is accused of strangling and sexually assaulting his ex-girlfriend.Â
Deputies responded to the Connors Valley Road area around 7:45 a.m. on Monday in reference to a woman who was found with blood coming from her face. When deputies arrived, the woman told them that her ex-boyfriend had sexually and physically assaulted her.Â
She told deputies that her ex-boyfriend was Dustin Scott Farmer, 36, of Draper. She said Farmer picked her up early Monday morning and took her to the Connors Valley section of Wythe County against her will.Â
She stated that Farmer physically and sexually assaulted her while they were in his vehicle. She told police Farmer strangled her several times before she was able to jump out of the car. He then tore her shift off, she told police, and she hid in the woods until he left.Â
She flagged down a driver, who then called 911.Â
Farmer is charged with abduction, sodomy, strangling, and object sexual penetration. He is also charged with assault on a family member, as they had been living together within the past year. He is being held without bond.Â
