The 22-year-old man, accused of killing an army veteran after a hit and run in Roanoke County will be in court today. Walter Ashley was walking on Williamson Road in April, when police say Evan Sarver hit him and then drove away. Sarver later turned himself into police. He is charged with DWI, involuntary manslaughter and not reporting an injury accident.
