Facebook scrubbed an interview of former U.S. President Donald Trump from his daughter-in-law’s Facebook page on Wednesday.

Lara Trump, who is married to Trump’s son, Eric Trump, and is a contributor at Fox News, had posted a video where she interviewed Trump for her online show, “The Right View.”

But later that night she said she received an email from Facebook that her video of Trump speaking had been removed due to the bans placed on both his Instagram and Facebook accounts.

“...and just like that, we are one step closer to Orwell’s 1984. Wow,” Lara said in an Instagram post, referring to a dystopian novel published in 1949.

This follows Trump’s indefinite ban on the platforms back in January after the violence that took place at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

Trump was also permanently banned from Twitter and temporarily banned from YouTube.
