McDonald’s to serve Krispy Kreme donuts at select locations

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – On Oct. 26, some McDonald’s customers will see Krispy Kreme donuts on the menu.

The popular fast food chain will serve Krispy Kreme donuts at nine Louisville, Kentucky locations.

Three of Krispy Kreme’s most popular donut treats will be featured on the menu:

• Original Glazed
• Chocolate Iced with Sprinkles
• Raspberry Filled

The donuts will be available all day, at participating test locations while supplies last. Customers can order donuts individually or in six-packs of Original Glazed or a variety of flavors.

The sweet treats can be ordered inside or at the drive-thru and are delivered fresh daily.

McDonald’s spokespeople said in a press release that the collaboration is a part of a small-scale test to help understand how offering baked goods like Krispy Kreme donuts will impact operations. The fast food chain will “often conduct tests to inform future menu decisions,” according to the release.
