WATCH: Auschwitz Liberation 80th Anniversary ceremony, 2025 Holocaust Remembrance Day

January 27 is Holocaust Remembrance Day across the world, where we remember the 6 million Jewish victims and millions of others persecuted by Nazis during WWII.

The date of January 27 was chosen because it is the day the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Monowitz concentration camps were liberated in 1945.

The Holocaust and the United Nations Outreach Programme has chosen “Holocaust remembrance and education for dignity and human rights” as its guiding theme for 2025.

Here, you can watch the Auschwitz Liberation 80th Anniversary ceremony.
