More than 1,300 customers without power in Lynchburg

Outage began early Sunday afternoon

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Many people are without power in Lynchburg right now.

Appalachian Power reports that 1,341 customers in the Hill City are being affected by an outage on Sunday afternoon.

The outage began at 12:41 p.m. and the estimated restoration time is 9 p.m., according to the power company.
