Police investigating malicious wounding in Lynchburg, one person hospitalized

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Lynchburg Police Department said it is investigating a shooting that happened Friday morning.

At 11:34 a.m., a person arrived at Lynchburg General Hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, according to authorities.

Police said they are still investigating the possible location of the shooting.
