Social media threat believed to be made by Wythe County student under investigation, authorities say

WYTHE COUNTY, Va. – The Wythe County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a potential threat posted on a social media platform Sunday morning.

Authorities believe the threat was posted by a Wythe County Public School student.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, school officials have been properly notified of the incident.
