ROANOKE, Va. – After the current command and increasing supply of the COVID-19 vaccine, Phase 2 residents who are pre-registered in the Roanoke City & Alleghany Health Districts, Pittsylvania/Danville Health District and Southside Health Districts can now receive a vaccine starting April 5.
The Virginia Department of Health announced on Friday that it’s moving into Phase 2, which is the general population, next week.
VDH encourages residents in Phase 1a, 1b, or 1c to register for an appointment if they haven’t already and said it will send out invitations on April 5 to RCAHD residents pre-registered in Phase 2 on vaccinate.virginia.gov.
Everyone must pre-register for an appointment and can do so on Vaccinate Virginia or by calling 1-877-VAX-IN-VA (877-829-4682). Walk-ins are not allowed at clinics.
