Man charged with second-degree murder in connection with Northwest Roanoke shooting

Police arrested the 35-year-old without incident on Friday

ROANOKE, Va. - Roanoke police have arrested the man they believe shot a killed a 46-year-old woman last weekend.

On Friday, authorities arrested 35-year-old Todd Manns, of Roanoke, and charged him with second-degree murder in connection with the shooting death of Taniko Belt.

Manns and Belt knew each other and police believe this was an isolated incident.

The U.S. Marshals Capitol Area Regional Fugitive Task Force assisted Roanoke police in making Friday’s arrest/
