APPOMATTOX COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE
One person was hurt in a crash on US-460 on Monday morning in Appomattox County.

Authorities said the accident happened around 6 a.m. in the 14000 block of Richmond Highway.
When crews first arrived, they said they found one person trapped with power lines involved.
Authorities said the person injured in the crash was airlifted.
According to VDOT, US-460 is now back open.

A crash has closed both directions of US-460 in Appomattox County, according to VDOT.
Authorities said the accident happened near Old Evergreen Road.
As of 6:45 a.m., both directions remain closed.
