BEDFORD COUNTY, Va.UPDATE

Authorities identified the woman who died in an early-morning crash on Thursday.

State Police said the accident happened around 1:45 a.m. on US-460 when a 1999 Mercedes E320 was going East before it ran off the left side of the road, ran into the median and overturned.

Shawanda Hershell Hill, 45, of Richmond was driving the car and was not hurt, according to police.

Authorities said Sehven Solo, 51, was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.

One person is dead after a crash on US-460 in Bedford County, according to Virginia State Police.

Authorities said the crash happened around 2 a.m. near Twin Lake Drive.

As of 5:10 a.m., the road is still blocked, according to VDOT.

No information on the victim’s identity or the cause of the crash is available at this time.
