US-220 North in Henry County reopens after crash

HENRY COUNTY, Va. – UPDATE

US-220 is back open after a crash on Wednesday morning, according to VDOT.

As of 6:17 a.m., the southbound right shoulder remains closed.

A crash has closed all US-220 northbound lanes in Henry County, according to VDOT.

Authorities said the accident happened near the ramp at Virginia Avenue.

North and southbound traffic is being detoured off US-220, onto Route 606 and then back onto US-220.
