Roanoke Valley man arrested after authorities seize about 2 pounds of narcotics, $50K in cash and guns

The seized drugs include methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl

BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. ā€“ A man from the Roanoke Valley is facing multiple drug and weapon charges.

Investigators with the Bedford County Sheriffā€™s Office along with Virginia State Police, Roanoke City Police Department and Roanoke County Police Department have been working on a narcotics case for the last few months involving Christopher Ross Kimberling.

Authorities executed several search warrants in which a large number of narcotics, including about two pounds of methamphetamine, heroin, cocaine and fentanyl, both legally purchased and stolen firearms and more than $50,000 in cash were seized.

Kimberling was charged with:

  • One count of possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine
  • One count of possession of heroin
  • One count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
  • One count of possession of a stolen firearm
