‘Justice for Harper’ billboard in Radford pushes for answers in tragic case Two-year-old Harper Mitchell died in 2020.
RADFORD, Va. – A new billboard in Radford is pushing for justice for Harper Mitchell, a two-year-old who died in 2020.
The girl’s mother, Amanda Mitchell, and a man named Andrew Byrd are both facing charges .
Their court cases have been continued more than a dozen times.
Family members like Harper’s father TJ Mitchell, who spoke to 10 News earlier this year , are frustrated by the delay.

“They’re not really giving me reasons. They’re saying lawyers wanted it continued or courts wanted it continued. I’m not getting a direct answer,” he said in January.
SAVESWVA is the community group behind the billboard.
