Radford High School honors seniors with pictures on Main Street

This is the third year of the new tradition

RADFORD, Va. – Radford High School is honoring its senior class ahead of graduation later this month.

For the third straight year, pictures of seniors line Main Street in Radford.

It was an initiative that kicked off during the pandemic when the students couldn’t be recognized with a traditional graduation.

It was received so well by the students, teacher and community that they wanted to continue the new tradition.

“We’re a city, we’re a family. Small community, we all work together for things like that and it really brings our community together. Everyone wants to see our kids be successful in our community,” said Radford High School Principal Tara Grant.

The school partnered with Ball Park Signs to get the pictures made.
