Part of South Main Street in Blacksburg reopens after water main break repair

BLACKSBURG, Va. – UPDATE

The portion of South Main Street between Edgewood Lane and Airport Road has reopened after a water main break and street repair Tuesday morning.

Town officials say water service has also been restored.

A portion of South Main Street is blocked due to a water main break and street repair, according to town officials.

Authorities told 10 News that Edgewood Lane and Airport Road will be closed to traffic until further notice.

There will also be a temporary water outage that will be restored once work is complete.
