Roanoke Fire-EMS to give away free fire extinguishers

The department also provides free smoke alarms

ROANOKE, Va. – The Roanoke Fire-EMS Department is encouraging fire safety to residents in the Roanoke area.

Thanks to a donation by Home Depot 4628 on Franklin Road, the department is handing out free fire extinguishers to city residents to keep their home safe.
