WATCH: Gov. Glenn Youngkin speaks at D-Day 79th Anniversary Event

Governor Glenn Youngkin spoke at the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford Tuesday morning for the 79th D-Day Annual Commemoration event.

The ceremony took place at 11 a.m. in remembrance of those who served on D-Day, the largest seaborne invasion in history.

Major General Timothy Williams, Dr. John C. McManus, Kevin Hymel and George Patton “Pat” Waters also delivered remarks at the event.
