On Wednesday, July 19, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m., the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office is offering free hot dogs in honor of National Hot Dog Day.

We’re told the RCSO will be set up at Washington Park, on the top level near the renovated basketball courts.

Authorities said Clean Sweep 23 helped with supplies for the event and D & G’s Wonderland is providing a bounce house for kids.

Hot dogs will be provided while supplies last, the sheriff’s office said
