The trial date has been pushed back for a former employee of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office who is accused of sexually abusing a young girl .

Justin Sigmon was federally charged with abusive sexual contact with a minor under 12 in May. The alleged incident happened on a cruise ship, and he’s being held in Florida.
Sigmon is set to go on trial on Nov. 6 at 9 am. in Miami, Florida after it was previously scheduled to begin on Aug. 28.
According to court documents, the trial was pushed back in accordance with a 60-day continuance and special setting request for the trial.
