ROANOKE, Va. – A before-school program for middle schoolers is coming to local YMCA’s, according to a Facebook post by Roanoke City Public Schools.
The announcement comes after Roanoke City announced middle schools will start later in the fall.

The schools are partnering with YMCA to provide activities at James Breckinridge Middle, Woodrow Wilson Middle and the YMCA Express at Gainsboro before classes start.
The programs will run from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. starting this upcoming school year.
YMCA staff said they expect to have more details about pricing and registration next week.
