ROANOKE, Va. – With snow and ice in the forecast this weekend AAA Mid-Atlantic is urging drivers to stay updated on weather forecasts.
“See what it looks like out on the roadways. If the roads are starting to get covered, the temperatures are below that freezing point. Really delay that trip if you can or make an alternative time to go for that trip. You want to wait out not just the storm, but also VDOT clearing the roadways out there,” Morgan Dean, Manger in Public and Government Affairs at AAA Club Alliance, said.
