BEDFORD, Va. – A downed live wire is currently causing trees to burn and pop as they heat up across Snowberry Hill.
According to the Moneta Volunteer Fire Department, the effected area is near Moneta Road and Snowberry Hill Drive.

The department said that Company 8 from the department is currently on scene but no mitigation efforts can begin until AEP responds and de-energizes the line.
