ROANOKE, Va – A downtown Roanoke business is expanding its offerings.
La De Da had the grand opening of their apothecary Friday night.
The women-owned business is now offering customized soaking salts, essential oils, one-of-a-kind scents and more.
“So we have slowly been building our perfume and scent and skincare line, and I kept saying it really needs its own space, but we couldn’t really figure out how to give it its own space,” said Crystal McBroom, La De Da’s Owner. “So, we just ended up kind of refreshing the whole store. It’s been the same way for years and we moved everything around and created this little kind of experience where you can make your own like, scent in your own vessel.”
The section is a collaboration between La De Da and local soap maker Sun and Spruce.
The business has been a downtown Roanoke staple for over 30 years.
As part of the grand opening, they’re offering free custom soaking salts samples until March 31., as well as a $5 discount on apothecary items.
