SALEM, Va. – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints celebrated America’s 250th Birthday with a big act of Kindness in Salem!
The Church teamed up with JustServe to donate over 40,000 lbs of food to Feeding Southwest Virginia’s Salem warehouse.
Staff say donations like this are essential to operations.
The donation included shelf-stable items like applesauce, canned goods and whole grain products - some of the most essential items for feeding neighbors in need.
