Virginia Gas Prices: Cheapest and most expensive places to fill up - July 1, 2026

VIRGINIA – If you plan on hitting the road for the Fourth of July holiday, we have good news for you. Gas prices continue to drop and have been on the decline for the fifth week in a row. 10 News is working for you to break down what drivers can expect across the region.

As of Wednesday, July 1, the average price of regular gas per gallon in Virginia is $3.67, according to AAA. Premium averages $4.57 per gallon, while diesel averages $4.80 per gallon.
