BOTETOURT COUNTY, Va. – GoWork, the first co-working center in Botetourt County, celebrated its grand opening Thursday.
Located in the Daleville Town Center, GoWork offers open-floor plan work sites as well as closed-door offices. With a low-priced monthly membership, members can have the opportunities that come with a regular office but at a lower price.
The owners say the idea took root in late 2016 when the space above Land of 1000 Hills became available. Now they are hoping for a fast takeoff.
"We are really just hoping that we can open this up to the community and have a core group of people who enjoy working together and can help the economic development here in Daleville," said Josh Wilson, director of GoWork.
Wilson says a co-working space can be the perfect place for small business owners, remote workers and entrepreneurs.
