ROANOKE, Va. - The Roanoke Rescue Mission is struggling to get enough donated toys for families in need this Christmas.
Fortunately, several law firms decided to help out.
The Rescue Mission collected toys from the Wood Rogers law firm.
Special events coordinator Stacy Boris of the Rescue Mission, said that if it weren't for local organizations, the Rescue Mission would not be able to provide gifts for families in need on Christmas.
“It’s going to be such a relief, not only for the children but for the parents as well, because they are able to provide such a wonderful, joyous Christmas for their family,” Boris said.
The presents will be distributed to families in need throughout the Roanoke Valley on Christmas Day.
