ROANOKE – A judge is expected to officially sign off on paperwork today dismissing the Frank Theatres Cinebowl & Grille lawsuit.  As you may remember they were in court earlier this year after not paying months of rent to Blacksburg A-P-F Partners. The doors were chained shut and the eviction process started. After the owner paid more than 6-hundred seventy thousand dollars they filed a letter to dismiss the lawsuit this month.

Virginia Tech professor Marc Edwards who leads the university's Flint Water Study team, will announce the latest water testing results from Flint, Michigan. This is the fifth time the team has tested for lead. They will also address how much water quality has improved since the height of the water crisis in August 2015, where high levels of lead were found in drinking water.

Expect downtown Roanoke to be packed tonight for the Third Eye Blind concert at Elmwood Park. Gates Open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m.

Habitat for Humanity is building it's first house in Botetourt County thanks to a $20,000 grant. The Virginia Housing Development Authority volunteers will be at the site in Buchanan today.  The Botetourt Technical Education Center's Building Trade students are also helping with the project. HUD says homelessness is a serious issue in Virginia and the homeless population has dropped 31 percent since 2010.

All Roanoke Catholic School teachers and staff are wearing student uniforms today while all students get to enjoy no uniforms after the senior class exceeded its fundraising goal to help victims of Hurricane Harvey. They raised more than $85-hundred dollars for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's "House in a Box" program for Houston families who have lost their homes from flooding. Every $2,100 raised provides a family of four with new beds, furniture, kitchen supplies, and other household items.

The Roanoke Greek Festival starts today at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church. You can get Greek food and entertainment from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.

The Primland Crooked Road kick-off festival starts today to celebrate as a new Affiliated Venue of The Crooked Road: Virginia's Heritage Music Trail.  The festival includes bluegrass music and their Chuck Wagon buffet from 6:30-8:30pm. Tickets are $35 per person tonight.
