Wytheville –
Wytheville Community College invites the public to take part in the ongoing college-wide strategic planning process. WCC will hold two public sessions seeking community input. The first session will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 6, in Galax Hall Room 201 at 6 p.m. The second session will take place on Thursday, Dec. 7, at 9 a.m. in the Johnson Lobby of the Snyder Auditorium located in Grayson Hall. Members of the public may attend either meeting.
“After spending some time getting to know the college and the community we serve, it was important for me to begin thinking more long-term and to work with the college administration to enter into a strategic planning process to help guide the next several years at WCC,” said Dr. Dean Sprinkle, WCC President.

This process kicked off this fall and is comprehensive in including internal and external constituents of the college including faculty, staff, students, board members, university partners, and members of the community, including representatives from business, industry, and schools.
“Strategic planning is an important and introspective look at where we, as an institution, have been and where we are going. We are a ‘community’ college first and foremost, and we want to hear from the community about what they believe are their needs in terms of providing services both in the short term and long term,” said Sprinkle.
