ROANOKE (WSLS 10 SPORTS) - The 1st & 10 Camp Tour rolls into week three with a stop at the home of the 5A Patriots of Patrick Henry.

Coach Alan Fiddler has taken the Patriots to 29 victories and three straight playoff appearances in his first four seasons. But he's yet to advance in the postseason.

This season, the Patriots are reclassified down to 5A.

They are as talented and as deep as any squad since Coach Fiddler arrived from the West Virginia college ranks, and his spread offense this year is fueled by a purple blur of speed.

"We have lots of speed guys and so many guys to carry the ball that that's kind of how you get the ball to everybody?-- but they're working hard to be an unselfish, they are blocking for each other hopefully we can put some points on the board.

We are very deep right now. No one is starting both ways so hopefully we can keep that going and keep getting better. We want to position ourselves for the playoffs so we can play home games and hopefully win some playoff games and hopefully try to put ourselves in position to play for a championship, " explains coach Fiddler.

The Patriots open at Hidden Valley on August 28.
