RADFORD, Va. – The 2022-2023 season continues for the Radford Highlanders after accepting a bid to play in the 2023 Discount Tire College Basketball Invitational, better known as the CBI Tournament.
The tournament will take place from March 18-22 at the Daytona Beach Ocean Center in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Radford will make its third appearance in the CBI after also playing in it following the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons. The Highlanders had a solid 2022-2023 campaign, highlighted by a 19-14 record including a 12-6 mark in Big South play. Radford earned a No. 3 seed in the conference tournament and earned a quarterfinals win before falling to Campbell on a last-second shot.
The CBI is a single-elimination 16 bracketed format that will have a field of teams not selected for the NCAA Tournament or NIT.
