ROANOKE, Va. – On the high school hardwoods Friday night, Northside defeated Lord Botetourt 81-55 behind a fast start to the game.
Cy Hardy scored 17 first half points including a couple of three pointers while in the paint, Braydan Ragland notched 15 in the first half.
Lord Botetourt tried to keep things close in the second quarter with Blake Lovern and Connor Dowdy leading the charge. But the Vikings offensive firepower proved to be too much in the second half.
During halftime, Northside High School honored its 2025 athletics Hall of Fame Class. That group included Richard “Dick” Oliver, John Andrew Newson Jr., Chad Briscoe and Katherine Heath Lawson.
