But Franklin County, their opponent, is known for a strong rushing attack and likes to put up points. The team honored its 2025 Athletic Hall of Fame class at halftime.
Picking up in the third quarter, Simeon Moore connected with Tae Scott for a big touchdown, putting Magna Vista ahead 28-7.
Franklin County responded with a touchdown from Reid McElvain, narrowing the score to 28-14 with 3:11 left in the third quarter.
Magna Vista tried to put the game away with another deep pass from Moore, this time to Tyler Martin, extending their lead to 35-14 with just over two minutes left in the third quarter.
Moore sealed the victory with his third passing touchdown of the half, finding Tae Scott in the end zone to make it 42-14 with 5:03 left in the fourth quarter.
Magna Vista won the game 42-21, continuing their dominant season.
