Quieter Radio Row at Super Bowl still had success
It seemed even fewer showed up to do their shows at socially distanced tables at the Super Bowl Media Center inside the Tampa Convention Center. โWe still had live guests, including live guests from the Chiefs and Buccaneers. โRadio Row is a spectacle every year that has a buzz and excitement for media, athletes and sponsors,โ Onaindia said. One of the benefits of Radio Row is the organic networking that happens between everyone in attendance. We all missed that this year.โThe idea of Radio Row at the Super Bowl originated in 1992 in Minneapolis when New Yorkโs WFAN broadcast on-site from a local hotel.
Peoples sets bowl rushing mark, App State tops North Texas
Peoples ran for a bowl-record 317 yards and tied another mark with five rushing touchdowns to lead the Mountaineers past North Texas 56-28. North Texas (4-6) of Conference USA fell behind 28-7 and had no answer for Peoples or the App State rushing game, which finished with 500 yards. The Frisco Bowl, set to start bowl season last Saturday, was canceled when the virus struck SMU, one of that game's teams. โIf you're going to give up explosive (plays), you're going to have a long day,โ North Texas coach Sam Littrell said. Before the game, North Texas announced leading rusher DeAndre Torrey and second-leading receiver Deonte Simpson would not play against the Mountaineers.

Hubbard's 2019 season was the best by an Oklahoma State back since Barry Sanders' 1988 Heisman-winning season. He rushed for 221 yards against Oregon State, 256 against Tulsa, 296 against Kansas State and 223 against TCU.
