Pounds of baked goods being mixed, cooked and bagged in a matter of hours is the standard for volunteers and students at House of Bread. โWe bake bread and granola and cookies and brownies and that sort of thing,โ House of Breadโs Co-Founder Lisa Goad said. Thereโs a lot of barriers, and we donโt, as a community, do a great job of supporting them,โ Goad said. House of Bread says they were able to make 100 pounds of granola and chocolate ginger cookies for the holiday season.
