It’s been just over a week since 45-year-old Anthony Cupec was shot and killed near 12th and Pierce Streets in Lynchburg. Cupec’s family is speaking out, remembering him as a devoted husband and stepfather.

A deadly shooting occurred on Wednesday just before 9pm in Lynchburg near 12th and Pierce Streets. Police confirm the victim is 45-year-old Anthony Cupec and the man accused of shooting him is behind bars.

The Lynchburg Police Department has reported that they have located and apprehended the suspect in Wednesday night’s shooting at Pierce Street and 12th Street.
